December saw me back to work after taking 2 months of parental leave.

Honestly the first week back was tough. Going from being out and about with the baby all day to 8 hours a day of screen-based labour. You get un-used to that very quickly.

I’m just going to bullet point this because this month has been a bit scrappy:

• had the end of year design community get-together in London, one of the best for a while and felt optimistic, really nice to see the early impact Colin is having
• planning for next year, hoping to move a few designers onto new teams and projects
• worked on some strategy slides for a presentation that got pushed to next year... so it goes
